Leon Sequeira is an attorney with more than two decades of experience in law, politics and public policy. He provides legal and business advice to employers and trade associations on complex employment and immigration matters. Leon's broad legal practice includes defending employers in government investigations and litigation, challenging federal agency actions and regulations in court, and advising employers on legislative and regulatory matters.
Ron Robbins is a diversified agribusiness owner and operator with decades of experience in farming and transportation. He manages a 7,000-acre, 1,400-cow dairy and cash crop operation, a regional trucking company, grain facility and an agri-tourism business in partnership with his family. His farm is known throughout the Northeast for producing high-quality milk and grain, which are distributed using the company’s own fleet of trucks. In addition to his business ventures, Ron is active in agricultural leadership and public service.
Jaime Castaneda is NMPF’s Executive Vice President for Policy and Strategy. In this role, he oversees the organization’s domestic policy initiatives as well as international trade. He also provides government relations and advocacy support for the U.S. Dairy Export Council, leading the U.S. dairy industry in international trade negotiations. In his more than 35-year career in agriculture, he has held policy positions with USDA, the National Center for Food and Agricultural Policy, and poultry and pharmaceutical industries.
Paul Bleiberg currently serves as Executive Vice President, Government Relations at NMPF. In this capacity, he leads the organization’s policy and legislative efforts and oversees the organization’s regulatory department. During his NMPF tenure, Bleiberg has worked with Congress and the executive branch to achieve significant dairy policy gains, including strengthening the dairy safety net and risk management programs and securing new resources to support on-farm dairy sustainability endeavors.
