NY Advocacy Request

The Assembly is likely to consider a bill that will put the burden of cost for recycling packaging to manufacturers and brands -- including your Cooperative. We're asking that you please reach out to your Assembly person and encourage them to take no further action on S1464A/A1749A, “The Packaging Reduction & Recycling Infrastructure Act” this session.

To complete this advocacy, please:

1. Visit this IDFA Advocacy Alert
2. Enter your fill out the form and hit sign up.
3. You will be directed to a page that automatically selects your Assembly Member and fills out a form letter.
4. Select edit in the top left of the message. Please add this language to the beginning of the first sentence- "As a dairy farmer and member-owner of Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc.,"
5. Press save which appears where the Edit button was in the top left.
6. Press submit.

If you are unable to add the edit, please go ahead and submit the form letter as populated. That message is better than none.
