For the past year, we have undertaken a significant business transformation project called "Project Milky Way" which is a transition to a new enterprise level software called SAP. The Executive Leadership has confirmed that we are ready to bring our first business unit on the new platform this weekend. This decision was based on:
• System Readiness – SAP has been built and tested, and data is flowing between integrated systems
• Data Readiness – Data has been loaded into SAP and validated
• People Readiness – Training has been completed, our plant teams are practicing up to go-live, and we have a robust on-site support plan for end users at each Cultured plant and Lancaster.
This afternoon will mark the first of several cutovers that will need to occur to bring each of our business units and plants onto the new system over the balance of the year. Beginning this evening at 8PM, our cultured dairy products plants (West Seneca, North Country Dairy, and Upstate Farms Cultured Products (Batavia)) will begin a period of down time to fully cutover and restart operations at 6am Sunday, May 10, 2026.
During the cutover, limited milk receiving at these facilities will occur. We have taken all reasonable steps to minimize disruptions; however, some disruptions may still occur.
