I hope everyone is having a good and productive summer! Here are some reminders when training your teams on good stockmanship and handling with a focus on tails. Sometimes the expectations for what the evaluator is looking for can be confusing and I hope this provides some clarity. I have also attached the link for the open comment period for the new version of the FARM program coming out in 2028. How tails are scored is on the list for revision in this version and we encourage all producers to provide input as this will determine how things are scored when we evaluate your farms!
