This month we are featuring calf care, emphasizing on disbudding via burning or paste. Another feature we want to call out is Calf Care Quality Assurance program that we encourage calf managers and personnel to complete via online portal that is offered in English and Spanish. Upon completion of the in total 2–3-hour course you will get a certificate that we will recognize as calf care training for the FARM Program. Click the link below.
In March, we will be hosting two bilingual NYCAMH Safety Trainings with Anna Meyerhoff. We welcome our members and their employees to attend one of these two sessions. They will be Train the Trainer events and participants will receive handouts and training materials for training other employees.
Topics covered will include: “Dairy Dozen,” Skid Steer and PTO Safety, and worker health and wellness. Lunch will be provided for those in attendance.
